Team building is an important aspect of Cub Scouts! Our Scouts and their Adult participants are working together to build Scarecrows for a local festival.
FUN!!! Each Fall the scouts participate in the Buckeye Council Popcorn fundraiser to help support the Pack; and the popcorn is Delicious!
Holiday Shenanigans are always fun. Our Scouts get to let loose and have fun during our Autumn party.
Scouts give back to help the community. We participated in helping the local VFW Post clean for an upcoming Veteran's Event. We helped serve Veterans and spectators during the Veteran's Day concert.
The first adventure Scouts complete is the rank of Bobcat. This rank helps to set the foundation of Scouting. Each color or symbol represents an important aspect of Scouting.
Competition and designing. The Rain-gutter boat is a fast pace race event!
Swimming is always fun, but safety is a must. Scouts worked with trained lifeguards to learn water safety skills and swim testing.
Our winter camping trip is always a great time. Scouts work on building projects, outdoor hiking, and camp safety. Older Scouts work on receiving their Whittling Chip Badge and food safety/ meal planning and prep. This is a great family event that encourages Parent/Scout bonding. Members from our Boy Scout Troop participate and help mentor our Cubs.
Spring STEM camp gives the scouts a chance to camp overnight and work on STEM NOVA awards that are offered by the Buckeye Council.
